General Rules
- No god modding, power-play, or metagaming.
- Only realistic cats--no special powers, beyond those of a medicine cat or leader, no crazy colors, and no wacky markings.
- This is a traditional naming site. The staff reserve the right ot refuse any name that does not suit.
- There is no word count here. However, this is also a literate site, and one-liners are not acceptable.
- There is no character limit, but all characters must be kept active. A character is considered active when they post at least once a week.
- One week in real life is one moon in Starpath time.
- Each player has the right to a single forbidden romance. All others must be purchased from the store.
- This is an account-per-character site. Please join with the name of your character. Only staff have OOC accounts.
High Positions
- High positions include Leaders, Deputies, Medicine Cats, and Medicine Cat Apprentices.
- High positions must be auditioned for. This is more strenuous than applying for another character, and takes the place of the standard application.
- A high position character is considered active when posting at least twice a week.
- High positions must attend all Gatherings and other Clan events relating to them, unless an IC character injury or illness, or an OOC absence notice, necessitates otherwise. In the event of the interference of real life, a character can either be played by the staff at an event, or a trusted senior warrior can take their place. In the event of an IC interference, the senior warrior will take the place of the High Position cat.
- Female leaders and deputies must consider carefully when having kits. Depending upon their timing (for instance, if the Clan is in the middle of a war with another Clan) a deputy might be forced to forfeit her position. In the case of a leader, the deputy will be forced to take her post as leader until she is ready to return from the nursery.
- Romance and kits for medicine cats are strictly forbidden. A medicine cat in a forbidden romance risks losing their position forever, unless a special item is bought from the shop.
Mating and Kits
- There will be no forced mating.
- All mating and birthing must fade to black.
- Cats are considered mates and can have kits after two threads together. During one of those threads, their official designation as mates must be mentioned. This does not apply to characters who are mated in adopt threads, but they must still have at least once thread together before they can produce a litter.
- She-cats and toms under thirteen moons may not take mates or reproduce.
- Litters can be as big as four kits. Staff will determine the appearance, gender, number, and health of the kits.
- Kits are apprenticed at six moons (six weeks). They are playable two moons (two weeks) after their birth.
- Apprentices can receive their warrior names anywhere from twelve moons (twelve weeks) to twenty moons (twenty weeks) after their birth.
